I bought the same setup 2 years ago when they had a similar special. It's a great product and a really great price.

This sounded so good (kit for $230 US) that I hit the phone right away.
Caswell has a 'distributor' in Canada and will not ship direct.
They don't give the distributor enough incentive to match the sale price (or even the regular price, apparently).
Canadian price before taxes and shipping is $360Cdn or $306 USD.
Just for info.....

Is 1200rpm too fast. I thought around 800rpm was standard for luthier buffing?

Thanks for the SM reminder, Greg.
I've got a motor or two, so this might be a better bet.

Thank you Michael, I do believe I'll order one. Been using a jury rigged buffing wheel on a drill press. I think it's about time.

even given the price they are charging in canada the caswell set up seems to be a better deal to me.
